J.N. [Jesse Newton] Strech had been a Resident of Webb City, [Jasper County, Missouri], Twenty-Seven Years; Four Children Survive.

Webb City, Missouri, July 29, 1922----J.N. Strech, 81 years old, died at 7:30 o'clock this morning at his home, 1101 South Oronogo street. His death followed an illness of three years, the last six months confined to his bed, suffering from paralysis.
.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon at the family residence, with the Rev. George F. Harbour of Carthage in charge. Burial will be in the Carterville Cemetery.
.
Mr. Strech was born in Dallas County, Kentucky, and had resided in Webb City, Missouri, twenty-seven years. He is survived by [his wife]; two sons, the Rev. [John Perry] Strech, Arvel Strech of Webb City, and Ernest Strech of Treece, Kansas, and two daughters, Mrs. L.J. Bogner and Mrs. Alice Huddleston of Webb City. Thirty-four grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren also survive.
