Mrs. Lota Mae Loflin, age 82 of Chatham, Louisiana, passed away Monday, December 27, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Loflin was a native of Eros, Louisiana and was a homemaker. She was a member of Chatham Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Henry Barlow Gryder and the late Allie Stuckey Gryder. She was also preceded by her husband Ralph Loflin, four sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Loflin is survived by three daughters Lawana Ticheli, Lynette Roberts and husband Benny, and Jane Crowell all of Chatham, Louisiana. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Concord Methodist Church in Chatham with Reverend Lala Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery near Eros under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, December 28, at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
