Mrs. Gerrit [Tryntji] Zeeman, formerly of Estherville, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter in San Bernardino, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Zeeman came to Estherville about 1904 when Mr. Zeeman went into the grain business with H.S. Greig. He later was president of the Estherville State bank. Mr. Zeeman died in 1921 and in 1925 Mrs. Zeeman left Estherville and went to California.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Andrew Smith of San Bernardino and Mrs. Lee Brown, Gilmore City. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 28, 1946)

Mrs. Tryntje Zeeman, 82 years old, native of Holland and resident of San Bernardino for 19 years, died yesterday at her home, 484 Twenty First street.
Mrs. Zeeman is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bess Brown of Gilmore City, Iowa, and Mrs. Katherine Smith of San Bernardino; two grandchildren, Russell V. Smith of San Bernardino and William Brown of Gilmore City, Iowa, and two great grandchildren William and Carol Smith of San Bernardino.
