Forrest "Danny" Morton, 56, of Damascus, died Jan. 16, 2004, at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Born Feb. 20, 1947, in Frederick, he was a son of the late Frank E. and Lola Jackson Morton. He was the husband of Barbara A. Morton.
Mr. Morton served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a service technician for Hoffacker's Heating & Air Conditioning in Germantown.
Survivors in addition to his wife include two daughters, Kimberly Brown and Lisa Morton, both of Damascus; three brothers, John B. Morton and his wife, Carol, of Clarksburg, Richard L. Morton and his wife, Debbie, and Jerry B. Morton and his wife, Ellen, all of Frederick; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Howell, and six brothers, James R. Morton, Carl McGrady, William McGrady, Eugene J. Morton, Frank E. Morton and C. David Morton.
Friends may call tonight from 7-9 at the Olin L. Molesworth P.A. Funeral Home, 26401 Ridge Road, Damascus. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Mount Lebanon Fellowship Church, 8115 Damascus Road, Damascus. The Rev. Donald L. Carpenter will officiate. Burial will be in Monocacy Cemetery,
Beallsville.
