Mr. Dickerson, an Army veteran, moved to this area in 1924 from Pineview, Ga., his birthplace. He was a member of Tomoka Christian Church, and the Daytona Beach Fire/Police Retiree Association, and a past member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He enjoyed horses.
Survivors include his wife, Irene S.; a son, Terry A., Holly Hill; a daughter, Janice D. Hayes, Ormond Beach; a sister, Ruby Sloan, Indianapolis; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
