VISITOR DIES; RITES PENDING
Harvey B. Milburn, 59, of Richmond, Calif., died suddenly at 4:30 a.m. today in the R. P. Brashear home, Star Route, Alex where he had attended a family reunion earlier.
Mr. Milburn was born in 1895 in Round Rock, Tex. and moved in 1897 to Oklahoma, where he had been a resident of Olustee and Altus. He had lived in Ardmore for 13 years before moving to Richmond, Calif. in 1942. He owned and operated a restaurant there. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. He had suffered a heart ailment for the past six months.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha, two daughters, Mrs. Marie Quartaroli of Niles, Calif. and Mrs. Juanita Ellett of Richmond, Calif.; one stepson, Leroy Ross of Newark, Calif; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Geraldine Hudson of Niles; six sisters, Mrs. Jessie Snodgrass of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Ida Snodgrass and Mrs. Ella Adair of El Monte, Calif., Mrs. Ada Burnett and Mrs. Myrtle Bates of Olustee, and Mrs. Mattie Eilson of Eastland, Tex.; one brother, Joe Milburn of Olustee.
