COOKEVILLE –Funeral services for Graydon D. Kuykendall, 75, were conducted in the chapel of Hooper & Huddleston Funeral Home Tuesday, January 13, at 11 a.m. with Robert Crabtree and Rev. Ellis Cooper officiating.
Mr. Kuykendall died January 11, 1981 in the local hospital. He was a native of Putnam County, the son of the late Ellis and Mattie Whitefield Kiykendall. He was a retired refrigeration mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lela Ledbetter Kuykendall, two sons, Donely Kuykendall, Nashville, Paul Kuykendall, Las Vegas, Nevada, one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Lofty, Birmingham, Alabama, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Margaret Waites, Cookeville, four stepsons, Homer and Donald Sullivan, Cookeville, Howard Sullivan, Detroit, Donnell Sullivan, Cookeville, four grandchildren, 19 stepgrandchildren,
two brothers, James Kiykendall, Livingston, Herbert Kuykendall, Huntsville, Alabama, three sisters, Mrs. Edith
Ledbetter, Knoxville, Mrs. Lorene Hire, Franklin, Kentucky, Lucille Kuykendall, Kingston.
Burial was in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
