He was born March 22, 1938, in Balkan, Ky., to Abraham and Hattie Hoskins Miracle, who preceded him in death. On April 20, 1959, he married Georgia Keller, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Miracle was a 1957 graduate of Lima Senior High School. He retired from Nickles Bakery after 40 years. He enjoyed bowling, gardening, going to car shows and wintering in Florida with his wife. He attended St. Rose Catholic Church. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 and Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Lodge 54. He was a veteran of the National Guard, serving four years.
Survivors also include a son, Donald Jay (Mary) Miracle, of Phoenix; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ivena Rich, of Pineville, Ky., Magdaline Brady, of Middlesboro, Ky., Betty (Jay) Crawford, of Oregon, Ohio, and Libby Irwin, of Walbridge; two sisters-in-law, Becky (Bill) Taflinger and Mary (Dave) Busick, both of Lima; three brothers-in-law, Ben Keller, John (Teresa) Keller and Kim (Barb) Keller, all of Lima; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Michael Keller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Rose Catholic Church. Father David Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.

I, always, called him Uncle Junior.
