The funeral will be 11 a.m. Sunday at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will be in Sand Ridge Cemetery, directed by Mayer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cooper was born July 28, 1898, at Waycross, Ga., a daughter of the late William and Liza Thrift Martin. She was a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are: five sons, Elvie Lee and Relis Lee, both of Georgetown, Carswell Lee of Baxley, Ga., Orbie Lee of Tampa, Fla., and Alex Lee of Aurora, N.C.; five daughters, Mrs. Lois Ward, Mrs. Leoda Ward, and Mrs. Rhoda L. Lee, all of Georgetown, Mrs. Melinda Sams of Jacksonville, Fla., amd Mrs. Reavis Mercer of Waycross, Ga.; a brother, William E. Martin of Pensacola, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Corley and Mrs. Sarah M. Thrift, both of Waycross, Ga., and Mrs. Tessie M. Tootle of West Palm Beach, Fla,; 37 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.

Before she was Mrs. Cooper, she was the widow of Seward Smith Lee. About 1940, she and Seward and most of their children moved from Okefinokee Swamp, near Waycross, Ga., to Georgetown County, SC.
