Numa was the son of George & Bertha (Bailey) O'Reilly.

Numa was brother to:

1. Ruth O'Reilly Dyess
2. Frankie Jane Ceberry O'Reilly Roberts

Numa married Mildred Williams. They were the parents of two children:

1. Larry Hal O'Reilly - killed in an on-the-job accident.
2. Judith Cheryl O'Reilly Miller



OBITUARY:

Funeral services for Numa "Waymon" O'Reilly, 79, of Canton, were held at 1pm May 13 in the Eubank Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Richardson officiating.

Burial will be in the Restland Cemetery, Dallas.

Mr. O'Reilly died May 11 in Canton after a long illness.

He was born June 22, 1913 in Seadrift to George Halbert and Bertha Bailey O'Reilly. He grew up and finished high school in Waxahachie, where he was an Eagle Scout. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and was a mechanical engineer for Texas Instruments, retiring in the early 1970s.

He had lived in Canton 10 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Canton.
