Nova Jean Bradshaw
Nova Jean Bradshaw of Renton died Dec. 11, 2004 at Valley Medical Center in Renton. She was 88.
Born Sept. 26, 1916 in Marionville, Missouri, married Lowell Bradshaw in 1933 and moved to Renton eight eight months ago from Auburn.
She retired from retail sales after working at Montgomery Ward, JC Penneys, Weisfields and Fred Meyer.
She was a volunteer for more than 20 years, working at blood banks, food banks, clothing banks and as poll judge.
She enjoyed performing at nursing homes and other places with the Selah Sunshines a singing group which she formed and led. She was named senior of the year in Yakima for her volunteer efforts.
She was a long time member of the Selah Bible Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lowell Bradshaw. She is survived by her son Del Bradshaw of Kent; sister Hazel Dugan of Marshfield, Missouri; thre grandchildren; and six great - grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Selah Bible Baptist Church in Selah. Burial will be at Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima.
