Jacob Benjamin 'Ben' Landrith was born January 2, 1909 in Springlake Twp., the son of Thomas and Minnie Mae Ehrheart Landrith. He married Goldie Nelson Feb. 16, 1930, in Pekin. She died Jan. 6, 1978.
One daughter, two sisters and two grandchildren also preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons, Bennie R. and Donald E.; two daughters, Marcell Martin and Mrs. Elton (Martha J.) Martin; 1 sister, Virigina Riviere; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Delavan National Guard 1927 - 1929.
