Marriage Announcement

Rockville, Dec. 20 [1906] -- Miss Adaline Guardside Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Davis, of Goshen, this county, and Reginald Darby Poole, son of Curtis [Kurty] Poole, of the vicinity of Buck Lodge, were married this afternoon in the M. E. Church South, at Goshen, Rev. Ernest L. Woolfe, pastor of the church, officiating. Miss Evie Davis, a sister of the bride, and Miss Mamie Poole, a sister of the bridegroom, were the bridesmaids, and John Darby, Oscar Poole, James Baker, and Bernard Nicholson acted as ushers.

On Monday, November 11, 1968, Adaline G. Poole of 1611 19th St. SE, beloved wife of the late Reginald D. Poole; mother of Reginald L., Olin D., and Reuben D. Poole; sister of Eva M. Walters. Also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services at the Simmons Bros. Funeral Home, 1661 Good Hope Rd. SE, on Thursday, November 14, at 10 a.m. Interment Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, Md.
