Memorial Tribute

In memory of Mrs. Lucretia Poole, wife of R. K. Poole.

On May the 17th, she obeyed the Divine call, "Come up higher." All that loving hearts and willing hands could do were give by her devoted family, and the prayer went up from their hearts, "Lord, spare her to us, if it seemeth good to Thee,' but bowed the head submissively under the chastening rod of affliction adn said, "Thy will be done."

The most precious jewel of the home circlet has been taken to shed its lustre around God's throne.

She was a loving mother, kind wife and friend to all. She always had a welcoming smile and cheering word for all with whom she came in contact. The memory of her many kindnesses will linger long with those who knew her.

Her loved ones need not mourn, as she has only departed from this beautiful world into the fuller beauties of the Lord. She believed firmly in the resurrection, and she exemplified her belief in her daily life. And whilst they garland her grave with flowers of forget-me-nots and immortelles, may her dear ones see whilst they loved her well Jesus loved her more. For He giveth His beloved sleep.
