Ivy Louise Johnson, age 88, of Florence, died Thursday, May 10, 2012. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Monday, May 14, 2012, until noon at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Chris Barnett officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Mike Johnson, Raymond Johnson, Steve Rogers, Earl Smith, James Cole, Junior Johns and Paul Sutter. Ivy was a charter member of the Church of Lee Heights of Florence. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. She will be greatly missed by her family and her loving and devoted friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton H. Johnson. Survivors are her children, Cindy Smith (Earl) and Kathy Owens (John), both of Birmingham, Mike Johnson (Marilyn) of Minnesota, and Raymond Johnson of Florence; brother, Robert Rogers of Arkansas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Denita Goodlow, Elaine Baugh and Hospice of the Shoals for their loving care.
