A license to wed has been issued to the following couples at the office of the probate judge during the past week.

Funeral services for Hazel E. Burns, 69, Mankato, formerly of Superior, were Tuesday afternoon at the Harmony United Methodist Church, Mankato. She died at the Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit, Friday. Mrs. Burns suffered a major stroke April 21 and had been hospitalized since that time.

Mrs. Burns was born near Cadams. She also lived at Esbon and in the Denver area before moving to Mankato in 1971.

Surviving are three sons, Robert of Ruskin, David of Oakland, Iowa, and Richard of Mankato; one daughter, Mrs. Enoch (Dick) Wichitley, Benbrook, Texas; two brothers, Bill Corman, Hardy, and Herb Corman, Oroville, Kan.; sister, Mrs. Joyce Williams (Fern), Englewood, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

The Rev. Gary Appleton officiated and burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. The Megrue-Price Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
