Levi David Mefford dies at his home in Shelbina yesterday morning about 1 o'clock following a heart attack which he suffered a few days previous.
Levi David Mefford was born Dec 29, 1861 in Marion county, the son of Aaron and Cynthia Mefford. On January 20, 1889 he was married to Miss Iola Wingate. He was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, three sons, Roy and Floyd of Lentner and Walter of Halbrook, Arizona; two brothers, Sidney MEfford of California and A. P. Mefford of Lentner.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Oak Ridge Baptist church conducted by the Rev. L. G. Atterberry. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
