Funeral was Monday in Vancouver for Brian E. Tichenor, who died of cancer Thursday in a Portland hospital. He was 75.

Mr. Tichenor was born in Tigard, Ore., on April 22, 1914, and had lived in Vancouver the last 11 years. He was a retired lithographer for a graphic arts center. Mr. Tichenor was an elder of the First Presbyterian Church in Vancouver and a member of the Oregon Society of Artists and Northwest Watercolor Society.

Survivors include his wife, Murel A. of Vancouver; sons, Dennis B. of Junction City, Ore., and Bruce A. of Raleigh, N.C.; daughters, Joan Klein of Battle Ground and Lory Miller of Gresham, Ore.; brother, Alan of Cumberland, Md.; and sister, Marian of Tacoma.

Burial was in Skyline Memorial Gardens, Portland.

The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 4300 Main St., Vancouver 98660.
