Our beloved husband, dad, brother, son, neighbor, and friend passed in his eighty-fifth year after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.

Ted was born in Frances to Thomas Acel and Retta Vivian Leavitt Prescott.

He married his high school sweetheart, Donna Davis.

He served in the Marine Corp during World War II and was honored and very proud to do so. Ted fought in many campaigns including Iwo Jima.

He had a long career in construction, beginning with the Duchesne tunnel in 1952 and went on to dig tunnels and shafts all over the world.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Davis Prescott; daughter, Amorie Eames; son, Stanley (Sylvia) Prescott; and two sisters, Ora Rathbone and Ilene Mitchell. He had sixteen grandkids, thirty-one great-grandkids, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents, son, Gary Prescott; son-in-law, Ron Eames; brothers, Vernon Prescott, Bill Prescott, and Carl Prescott; and sister, Mildred Vernon.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Kamas Second Ward Building, 100 West Center Street, Kamas. A viewing will be held prior to the services at the church on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Interment will be in the Francis Cemetery.
