Mrs. Emily P Kearney, 72, of 63 Page Ave, widow of John W Kearney, died at Bristol Hospital this morning after a short illness,
Born March 31, 1894 in Terryville, daughter of John and Anna Pader, she moved to Bristol 13 years ago from Terryville, where she had lived most of her life. she was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs George Hawley of New Haven, a brother, Edward Pader of Terryville, two sisters, Mrs. Clara Cornetski of Bristol and Mrs. Elsie Von Schmid of Terryville; her daughter in law Mrs. Mary Kearney, with whom she lived; two granddaughters. and serveral nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home, 20 Center Street with Rev Stanley Macholz, pastor of Bethlehem Lutheran church, officiating Burial will be in Hillside cemetery, Terryville. There will be no calling hours in Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bethlehem Lutheran church memorial fund.
