COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Charles E. Green, 89, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Baxter Chapel of Hooepr & Huddleston Funeral Home, with Glen McDoniel and Tom Compton officiating. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Green, a native of Putnam County, died Thursday, August 18, 1983, in Cookeville General Hosptial.
He was the son of the late James A. and Phoebe Elizabeth Warren Green; a retired mail carrier; member and Elder or Baxter Church of Christ for many years.
His family includes four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Mynatt of Chicago, IL; Mrs. Marguerite Hayes of Hornbeck, TN; Mrs. Jan Massa, Carthage, TN; Mrs. Betty Gonzales of Baxter; a sister, Mrs. Marie Buck Roberson of Cookeville; 11 grandchildren; 17 greatgrandchildren; a brother, Oliver L. Green of Cookeville.
