Marguerite Mary Armstrong of Placerville died March 17 at a local hospital at age 79.
A native of Nevada, she had lived the past seven years in El Dorado County. She was a member of the Camino Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints. Until her retirement, she had been an apartment manager for 20 years.
Mrs. Armstrong was the wife of Gerald Armstrong of Placerville, and the mother of Merl E. Richard of Mina, Nev., and Roy A. Richard of Minden, Nev. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 20 at the Placerville LDS Church, with Elder Grant Gunnell officiating. Interment will be in Panaca Cemetery, Panaca, Nev., this afternoon. Local arrangements were by Memory Chapel."
