Tina Renee Crosby, 39, of Douglas, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at her residence. Tina was born July 23, 1971 in Bacon County. She was of the Baptist Faith. Miss Crosby was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marcell Crosby and Bill and Katherine Spivey.
Survivors include three daughters, Chelsie Nicole Crosby, Jasmine Tierra Crosby, both of Douglas and Alexis Cheyenne Gonzalez of Baxley; mother, Billie Diane Spivey of Douglas; father and step-mother, Russell and Kristin Crosby of Baxley; one sister and brother-in-law, Ammie Michelle and John Ledford of Douglas; one nephew, John Evan Ledford and a niece, Emma Gail Ledford, both of Douglas; maternal grandfather, Joseph L. Crosby of Baxley and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27 at Satilla Baptist Church with the Rev. Therman (Pet) Hayes and the Rev. Milton Pate officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Marcus Simmons, Lee Simmons, Clint Ledford, Tommy King, Justin Spivey, Ryne Powers, Donald Aldridge and Randall Odum.
Honorary pallbearers were Bethany Hospice Care of Douglas and all friends in attendance.
Musical selections were rendered by Wanda Smith and Kim Powers.
Remembrances may be made to Bethany Hospice, 201 West Side Drive, Douglas, GA 31533.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
