Married Linda Kay Zimmerman
15 Mar 1980 Reno, Washoe, NV
No children were born of this union

Note***
Born with a cleft lip, it never stopped him from being the most sociable guy around. He loved road-trips, motorcycle runs, camping, fishing, BBQs, and fun times.

While driving in the company big rig and returning from a delivery of concrete he was involved in a serious accident. Someone who either saw the crash occur or happened upon the accident scene soon afterwards took his wallet from his body. It was several hours before he was officially identified and his wife of 18 months was notified.

His memorial was unlike any I had or have since attended. His beloved vintage truck was parked on the front lawn of his mother's home. The bed of the truck was filled with ice and cans of his favorite beer.

So fitting for a guy who was so much fun to be around and loved to party with his family and many friends.

Miss you, Darrell.
