Benjamin Franklin Hall, 90 year old invalid of Swearengin, was found dead in his wheel chair, Monday morning by a 10 year old boy Willard McCulloch. The McCullochs lived next door and sort of looked after him. Mrs. McCulloch heard Mr. Hall making some noise that morning. Willard went down to draw a bucket of water for him and found him dead. He died of a heart attack.
He was born in DeKalb County and married Sarah Lou Guffey, who died about 15 years ago. An invalid all his life, he used crutches before he was confined to a wheel chair.
The funeral was held Tuesday at Prospect with burial in the church cemetery directed by Carr Funeral Home.
