A.G. Towles, 54, of Renner, Louisiana, died January 31, 1976, at Veterans Hospital in New Orleans following a lengthy illness. He was a retired apartment security guard.
Services for Towles were held Monday, February 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Coleman-Card Funeral Home in Indianola with Rev. J. B. Miller officiating, assisted by Rev. Mike Murphy. Interment followed at City Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Bishop Towles of Renner; two daughters, Mrs. Lana Ashcraft and Mrs. Sheila Stauffer, both of Renner; two sisters, Mrs. J. D. Pittman of Tampa, Florida, and Mrs. Stanley Howard of Pensacola, Florida; and five brothers, Lake Towles of Sunflower, Troy Towles of Indianapolis, Indiana, Dewitt Towles of Tampa, Florida, Carl Towles and Paul Towles both of Cleveland, Mississippi.
