PATROLMAN HEZLITT ILL
Thursday morning Patrolman John A. Hezlitt was taken with a shock at his home, 31 Lee street, where Dr. Weeks attended him, One side of his body is badly affected. Patrolman Hezlitt was appointed on the police force April 12, 1892. He was born January 7, 1853, and was a stone cutter before joining the force. He is married and has one son.

FUNERAL OF PATROLMAN JOHN A. HEZLITT
Patrolman John A. Hezlitt, for over 31 years a member of the police department, died last week Friday, aged--70 years. Funeral services were held at the Edwin 1.. Derby funeral home, 16 Pleasant street, Monday afternoon, Rev. James Ainslie, pastor of Grace M. B. church, officiating. A platoon of patrolmen from station 2 and 3, with which Patrolman Hezlitt had been connected, attended the funeral in charge of Sgt. Douglass, The bearers were Patrolmen Moylan, Diehl, Dynan, Law and Linehan, of station 2, and O'l.oughlin, Hogan nnd Callahan, of station 3. Mrs. Edith Gosnell was the soloist. Burial was in Cambridge cemetery. Mr. Hezlitt was appointed to the police department April 12, 1802, and was assigned to station 3. He later served for many years at station 2 and was a familiar figure around Central square. - He married Christena McKenzie 43 years ago and she survives him. He also leaves a son, John William, three brothers. Andrew J., George and William, all of this city, and a sister. Mrs. E. S. Wellington, of Maiden. He was a member of St. Omer lodge, X. P., of this city.

Patrolman John A. Healett, of station 2. passed away yesterday afternoon at his home. 31 Lee street. He was 70 years old and had been a member of the department 32 years. The funeral will be held Monday at 2 P. M. at the Edwin L, Derby funeral home. 16 Pleasant St

John A, Hezlilt, well known in this cily. passed away last week Friday at 16 Lee street. Mr. Hezlett. 70 years- of-age, was born in this city. He was an active member ol the police department and had been connected with Station 2, at Central square, for the past 32 years. He was a member of Grace church, Ancient Order of United Workmen, Workingmen's Benefit, Knights of Pythias, Cambridge Police Mutual Aid Association and the Massachusetts Mutual Aid Association. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, from Edwin L Derby Funeral Home. 16 Pleasant street, Rev. James Ainslee, pastor of Grace ME church, officiating. Burial was in Cambridge Cemetery. Mr Hezlitt is survived by his wife Christina and one son, John W. X.
