Sara Woolf Sampson, 87, passed away December 22, 2010, in Richfield, Utah, due to complications incident to age. It was her fondest dream to go home.
Sara was born May 6, 1923 in Idaho Falls, to Lowell and Dora Woolf.
She married Ben Easton Sampson on September 21, 1956 in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. He preceded her in death in November 1993.
Sara was an accomplished musician and taught piano almost all of her life. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was blessed to serve in many capacities. She spent her life in the service of her family and others.
She is survived by her children, K.D. Ker, Steven Ker, Lisa Ker, Charmayne Replogle, Craig Sampson, Laurel Sampson, Lewis Sampson, Lowell Sampson and Dorran Sampson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Jody Dodd.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Alta Ryder.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Ammon 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 3000 Central Ave. in Ammon, Idaho, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in Ucon City Cemetery.
Funeral directors are Magleby Mortuary, Richfield, Salina and Manti.
