MILFORD, Ohio — Larry I. Reece, 68, died on December 23, 2010 at 4:50 am in Jewish Hospital of Kenwood, Ohio.
Larry was born in Marion, Indiana to Everett C. and Velma Lucille (Clark) Reece and they preceded him in death.
He had lived in Grant Co. most of his life before moving to Ohio. While in Marion, he was employed by Indiana Gas for 31 years. He was also a member of the VFW Post 10 and Amvets Post 5, both of Marion. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was a Navy veteran.
Survivors include his son, Jeff Reece of Marion and a daughter, Lisa Reece of Warren; one brother, Raymond, Muncie; two sisters, Tammy Abshire and Shirley Clester, both of Marion; one grandson, Brady Sparks.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2010 in the chapel in the Marion VA Medical Center with the Rev. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial, with military rites will immediately follow in the Marion National Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service in the VA Chapel.
