MRS. DAUGHTY V. DUNLAP
Mrs. Daughty V. Dunlap, 65, nee Mary Catherine McNamee, died at her home in Fredericksburg, Sunday, July 13, 1997.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 16, at 10 a.m. in the Schaetter Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends Coleman Turner and V. Carl McNamee Jr., officiating. Mary Ann Murchinson was the organist and James Collins the song leader. Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery.
She was born in San Antonio on August 3, 1931, the daughter of Verna Carl McNamee and Mary Harrison McNamee. She married Daughty Vee Dunlap in Fort Worth, and he survives.
Mrs. Dunlap was active in church and senior center work in Port Lavaca, before moving to Fredericksburg. Here she was active in the First Baptist Church and active in the founding of the Stonewall Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and her spouse, Belinda Sue and Tom Wright of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a son, Gary Vee Dunlap of Texarkana, and a brother, V. Varl McNamee Jr., of Houston.
Memorials may be made to the Stonewall Baptist Church, Cancer Research of to the charity of choice.
Pallbearers were Ben Lovell, Bradley W. Sweeney, Calvin Davis, Steve Richardson, Lucas Richardson and Art Burch.
