Edwin Alpheus Siceluff, who was also sometimes called Alpheus E. Siceloff, was a son of Joseph H. Siceloff and his wife Eliza Lindsay Wood, of North Carolina. He was in Buchanan County, Missour in 1861, but returned to North Carolina to join the Confederate Army, serving as an officer in the 42nd NC Regiment, CSA.

Edwin was twice married, but I am afraid I do not know his first wife's name. His second wife was Mae Dora Stephens (1882-1969), whom he married around 1903. They had two sons: Capt. Joseph G. Siceluff (1904-1982) and Harry J. Siceluff (1907-1973).
