Martha A. was the daughter of Stephen HOWLAND and Polly (Parker) HOWLAND. She died at age 96 yrs.
She married Moses Aldrich Quimby abt 1828.
On 1900 census, she states she was mother of 10 children, three living. One, Mary J. Hazleton lived with them in the 1880 and 1900 censuses. Moses A. was a farmer.
In the 1900 Lisbon Grafton Co. NH census, she and dau. Mary J, had four other single ladies in the HH. Could not connect the Cummin or Newcomb names, and one was from Ireland, May S. Young. Perhaps, she was renting to them.
