She married Frank Arthur Roose in 1939 and divorced him in 1945. She then married Carl B Fuller (1907-1967) in 1946. Her third husband was Clyde Vernon Adams, who was born 1913 and died 1975 of a heart attack at the couple's home in Dimondale.

She has two children: Beverly J Robinson and Robert Roose; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
