Charles F. Mossbrucker age 75 years of Mullica Hill went home to be with the Lord on Monday March 22, 2010 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Mossbrucker was born in Swedesboro, raised in Mickleton and lived in Pitman for several years before moving to Mullica Hill in 1994. He was a veteran serving in the United States Navy at Lakehurst. Mr. Mossbrucker was an A.S.E. Certified Mechanic and he taught Auto Mechanics at Gloucester County Vocation Technical School before becoming their Vice Principal.

While at Gloucester County, he served as V.I.C.A. Coordinator and he also served on the Middle States Evaluation Team. He retired in 1995 as Principal of Atlantic County Vocational Technical School in Mays Landing and he received the Academic Excellence Award from the Epsilon Pi Tau Nu Chapter of Vocational Educators. An avid singer, Mr. Mossbrucker sang with several groups, including "Three Lads and a Dad" Barbershop Quartet, "The New Twenty - Third" Gospel Quartet and the Cherry Hill Pine Barrons Chorus and Barbershop Quartet. He was a devoted 62 year member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Clarksboro where he served as Lay Leader for twenty five years.

Mr. Mossbrucker was also the Music Director of the Church, starting the Cherub Choir, Junior Choir and Men's Choir. He also served as a Bible Study Leader, Youth Fellowship Leader and was a willing hand to serve on any committee of the church. He was a member of Gideon International, and a Founding Member of the Rolling Rods Car Club and avid street rodder.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Janet Mossbrucker (nee Marlin) of Mullica Hill; his children, Fred and Penny Mossbrucker of Turnersville, Jeff and Emma Mossbrucker of Carneys Point, Carl Mossbrucker of Mullica Hill; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Danny, Caitlyn, Hayley, Lindsay, Chuck and Matthew and his brother, Bruce Mossbrucker of Barnsboro. Mr. Mossbrucker was predeceased by his brother, Don Mossbrucker.

The Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM Saturday March 27, 2010 in the Evangelical U.M. Church, 14 W. Cohawkin Rd., Clarksboro. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 9 PM in the McBRIDE - FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro and Saturday morning after 9 AM in the Church. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro
