Wanda Lee Snowden 82, formerly of canton, passed away at 7:55 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Boulevard Health Center in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Born August 13, 1928, in Astoria, Illinois, the daughter of Roy and Hettie (Slaight) Bushnell. She married Lloyd Snowden April 16, 1948 in Astoria. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2009.
Survivors include two sons, Bruce A. (Jessica Schroeder) Snowden of Sterling Heights Mich. and Mark J. (Robin) Snowden of Rochester Mich.; four grandchildren , Julie Anne Brown, George Allen Snowden, Hope Isabella Snowden and Joshua Cole Snowden.
Wanda was a member of Wesley United Methodist church in Canton. A loving mother, and grandmother.
Services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday, December 29 at Murphy Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton, The Rev. Roger Russell will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Tuesday, December 28 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Astoria Cemetery in Astoria, IL. Online condolences may be sent to www.sedwickfuneralhomes.com
