She was a farmer's wife but also enjoyed her time spent as a 4-H leader, Sunday School teacher and serving time on the County School Committee. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, watching birds, changing of the seasons, catching up with visitors, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Burr; three brothers; and one sister.
Lillian is survived by her two children, Charles E (Donna) Green of Baraboo and Joyce (Don) Shunk of Walworth; seven grandchidlren, Fay (Bill) Vertein, Susan Green, Sandra (Ken) Pierce, Marsha Luther, Jeffrey (Pam) Shunk, Pamela (William) Clark and Gregory Shunk; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Baumgarten of Milwaukee; as well as other relatives and friends.
Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery.
