Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Alexis and Lea (Breton) Belisle, he lived there all his life.
He leaves five sons, Edward Belisle of North Smithfield, Arthur Belisle of Lincoln and Roger, Lionel and Paul Belisle, all of Woonsocket; eight daughters, Doris Croteau of Blackstone, Mass., Marge Jacobs, Diane Bednarz and Rachel Tryhubczak, all of Woonsocket, Yvette Brooks of Manville, Cecile Belisle of Glocester, Terry Cazeault of Harrisville and Rosie Belisle of Cumberland; 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Jules Belisle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, South Main Street. Burial will be private.
