Edward was the son of John and Mary Ann (Mitchell) Timperley and the husband of Lilly Ann (Williams) Timperley. They had 8 children-John Henry, Joe Abbot, Edward Eugene, Grace, Arthur Miles, Nellie Odessa, Lily June and Florence Blanche. At the time of his death, he had 24 grandchildren and 24 great-granchildren. He had been a farmer in Irvington. He is buried next to his wife Lilly Ann in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Their sons John Henry and Edward Eugene, along with many other family members are buried nearby.
