Raymond J. Kohout, 76, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on May 18, 2006. Ray retired in 1992 from Motorola after 30 years of service as an electrical engineer. His hobbies included reading and he was currently working on publishing a fictional book on space exploration. He was a beloved father and grandfather. Ray was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Geri. He is survived by his son, Michael (Maria) Kohout of Scottsdale and his granddaughter, Michele Kohout of Madison, WI. Inurnment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. No Services will be held. The family requests memorial donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
