Joseph Harlo (Dick) Boren, 98, resident of Fairland, Oklahoma, died December 26. He was born August 8, 1874, in Huntsville.
Survivors are one daughter, Oka Higdon of Fairlane, Okla., two sons, Truman of Huntsville and Richard, El Reno, Okla., one sister, Sally Hart of Shawnee, Okla., and one brother, Bill of Napa, Calif.; 23 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., December 28, at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with the Elder C. D. Wilson officiating. Burial was in the Fairland Cemetery under the arrangements of the Cooper Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Harold and Clinton Boyd, John Williams, C. B. Earls, Woodrow Wilson and Ralph Myers.
