Mr. Willie Carter Sargent,
age 96 of Brodhead, died Friday, December 3, 2010 at the Rockcastle Regional Hospital in Mt. Vernon. He was born in Rockcastle County on April 12, 1914 the son of Charlie and Effie Singleton Sargent and was a member of the Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church and a retired farmer.
Mr. Sargent is survived by his wife of 64 years: Mrs. Fronia Sargent of Brodhead and a sister: Mrs. Iva Burdette of Richmond, IN. Mr. Sargent was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
