Son of David Markham (according to death cert). Records indicate he could have been born anytime between 1811 and 1817. He lived with his family on German Compnay Tract Lot 35 (just west of Berlin, Ontario) prior to coming to the United States. He lived with his son James and James' wife Sarah. He died from apoplexy.
