Mrs. Clara Vesta Stiver, 80, of 316 West Kincaide Ave., died at Murphy Medical Center at 10:25 p.m.
Thursday, December 23, 1965. She had been a patient for the past 13 days.
Mrs. Stiver was born near Etna Green on March 8, 1885, the daughter of Abraham and Emaline (Rhinehart) Boyer. She had lived all her life in the county. On Dec. 27, 1903, she was married to Roy Stiver, who preceded her in death in 1952.
Surviving are one son, Donald, Route 2, Warsaw; a daughter, Mrs. George Baker, 211 South McKinley St.; one
brother, Van Boyer of Sidney; two sisters, Mrs. Marland Green, Route 4, Warsaw, and Mrs. Sam Norris, Mentone; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Two sons and a daughter preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 26, at 2 p.m. at the L. J. Bibler and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev.
Paul Tinkel, pastor of the First Church of the Brethren here and Rev. Kenneth Culver, pastor of the Church of the
Nazarene at Muskegon, Mich., officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 p.m. today and until time of the funeral.
Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, southeast of Warsaw.
