John W. Browning, age 86, of Lawrenceville, died Sunday, January the 16th of 2000. He is survived by wife, Randall Corbin Browning; children, Robert L. Browning, Louellen V. Browning, Bobbie Sue Berry; sisters, Lucile Bradford, Pearl Foster, Grace Keller, Vivian White; brothers, Gene Browning, Ralph Browning, Cecil Browning; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A native of Gwinnett County, Mr. Browning was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church. He played the banjo in the Happy Time Band, along with his wife on the keyboard. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm Tuesday, Janurary the 18th of 2000 at the chapel of the Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Rev. David Smith, Rev. Charles Dispain and Rev. J. T. McMillian will officiate. Interment Gwinnett Memorial Park.
