New Montgomery Traffic Officer
Frederick News-Post - June 28, 1930

Sheriff Joseph B. Pyles, of Montgomery county, has appointed Dunbar D. Padgett, of Dickerson, a special deputy sheriff to serve principally as a traffic officer at the intersection at Beallsville of the Rockville-Buckeystown and Barnesville-Poolesville roads pending the construction of the bridge over the Monocacy River near Frederick Junction. During the coming months of construction, a large volume of traffic will be diverted through Beallsville, making the services of a traffic officer necessary. Padgett subscribed to the oath of office before the clerk of the Circuit Court at Rockville Wednesday.
