Salt Lake Tribune, The (UT) - October 21, 1998 OGDEN--David Lewis Hughes, age 48, left us on Monday, October 19, at the University of Utah Medical Center, to join his son Brandon.

David was born October 7, 1950 in Ogden, the son of Jack and Blanche. David was husband to Karol Guthrie Hughes, and father of his beloved daughter Amanda, David (Dorothy), Jack and Marnie. He was a brother to Frank (Dolli) Hughes; Diane (Paul) Allsop; Jeanine (Richard) Barrientos; Jan (Frank) Kelly; Richard (Faye) Hughes; and Kim (Jessica) Hughes. David also had five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

David was a machinist and enjoyed playing pool and singing Elvis songs. David was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Robert, and his beloved son Brandon.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, October 22, 11 a.m. at Leavitt's Chapel of Flowers Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden. Cremation by Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Crematory under the direction of Leavitt's Chapel of Flowers Mortuary. Inurnment, Leavitt's Aultorest Memorial Park.
