Funeral services for Melford Wayne West, 20, who lost his life in Vietnam on Jan. 03, 1968 were held from the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church where he was a member. He gave his life in Vietnam while fighting for our freedom.
He was the son of Mrs. Nola Stacy West and the late Monroe West.
In addition of his Mother; he leaves five brothers, Julues, Lyon, Fletcher, and Charles all of the Mt. Vernon area.
Burial was in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, near Fulton, MS
