Mrs. Bessie Griffith Hurtt returned to the bureau Monday after having been away for several days on account of the death of her husband, Herbert Maple Hurtt, who died on April 17 and was buried in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville, Maryland. Mr Hurtt was ill only about two weeks, during which time his wife was constantly at his bedside administering to his wants.
