She was born May 19, 1899, in Murrayville, the daughter of Charles Richard and Iva Leona Wesner Short. She married Dwight Wesley McCoy; he died in 1937. She later married Reuel V. Tomlin in 1945; he died in 1985.
Mrs. Tomlin was a member of First United Methodist Church in Springfield and was affiliated with Grace United Methodist Church in Jacksonville.
Survivors: a sister, Margaret Isabel "Babe" Woods of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: Gillham-Buchanan Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
