Floreca McCoy Tomlin, 99, of Jacksonville, formerly of Springfield, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, at Barton W. Stone Christian Home, Jacksonville.
She was born May 19, 1899, in Murrayville, the daughter of Charles Richard and Iva Leona Wesner Short. She married Dwight Wesley McCoy; he died in 1937. She later married Reuel V. Tomlin in 1945; he died in 1985.
Mrs. Tomlin was a member of First United Methodist Church in Springfield and was affiliated with Grace United Methodist Church in Jacksonville.
Survivors: a sister, Margaret Isabel "Babe" Woods of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services: Gillham-Buchanan Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
