Suzanne Jean Patterson, age 82, of Chenoa and formerly of Hoopeston, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at Meadows Mennonite Nursing Home in Chenoa.
She was born in Chicago on Sept. 23, 1928 to George A. and Margarette V. Davis. She married George H. Patterson Jr. on March 12, 1949 in Harvey. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandson.
She is survived by her children, Ann (Sam) Wise of Cadiz, Ky., William (Debbie) Patterson of Bettendorf, Iowa, Sue Ellen (Mark) Hinkle of Bismarck, George (Pami) Patterson of Hoopeston and Carolyn (Scott) Wallace of Mackinaw; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Margarette McGathey of Corrales, N.M.; her in-laws, Mary and James Harper of Emmaus, Pa. and several nieces and nephews.
